Femm Amsterdam is the creative studio of Femke Hofhuis, founded in 2020 after a decade-long career as a set designer. As a visionary designer, Femke specialises in creating emotionally resonant, site-specific artworks and objects that respond intuitively to people and spaces. Her work is defined by flowing forms, reflective surfaces, and warm, radiant hues that uplift both space and mood.

Known for translating the identity of a person, brand, or environment into harmonious, high-end experiences, she combines custom textiles, objects, installations, and art into cohesive and refined compositions. Alongside developing her own collections, she collaborates with international brands and partners on creative direction, bespoke design, and premium projects.

Her work has gained international recognition, including a presentation as the first Dutch designer at the Zaha Hadid Hotel ME Dubai, alongside the development of a limited-edition textile collection for the hotel. She has collaborated with global partners across the UAE, Hong Kong, and India, as well as brands such as ME by Meliá Hotels and SPACES, and leading interior architecture studios including ROAR.

With a distinctive approach rooted in colour psychology and intuitive design, Femke creates work that is both visually striking and deeply emotional.
