Femm Amsterdam is the artistic studio of Femke Hofhuis, founded in 2020 following a decade-long career as a set designer.

Her work lives at the intersection of art and design, balancing a refined aesthetic with an intuitive understanding of energy. With an innate sensitivity to both people and spaces, she creates deeply personal, uplifting pieces shaped through flowing forms, reflective surfaces, and radiating colours. Through the interplay of these elements, each design becomes a gentle yet powerful presence, spreading softness and light in a world too often overshadowed by negativity.

Her practice spans wall sculptures, textiles, installations, and public art. Femke often refers to her pieces as jewellery for your space—striking, emotive focal points that infuse interiors with vibrancy and personality. Through close collaboration with architects, interior designers, and private clients, she moves effortlessly between intimate bespoke commissions and large-scale hospitality projects.

In partnership with ME Dubai, also known as the Zaha Hadid Hotel, she created an exclusive textile collection of woven bath towels and cushions. In the same year, she launched The Exclusive Collection featuring exquisite glass artworks and unique metal objects, unveiled at the iconic ME Dubai.
